11th Hour Racing, a program of the Schmidt Family Foundation, seeks through sponsorship of winning sailing teams, regattas, and advanced sailing and production practices, to establish a dynamic new platform for sailing education emphasizing the responsible use of energy and resources in the context of sailing. 11th Hour Racing aims to improve the energy profile and performance of racing boats and increase the personal investment of sailors in the health of our waters.
The American Sailing Association is the leading authority on sailing instruction and sailing schools in the United States. They have been certifying sailing instructors and students to international standard for thirty years. Sailors for the Sea works with the American Sailing Association to increase the reach of our programs and awareness of ocean conservation.
BlooSee is a cloud-based platform to organize the information for the ocean and bring all of the relevant communities in that space together. Their mission is to harness the best ocean information and make it accessible and useful. They have also worked with us to create a map of Clean Regattas.

CARIB Tails is enlisting yachters and cruisers to help track the movements of humpback whales between their North Atlantic feeding grounds and their breeding grounds in the Wider Caribbean Region.
Greening the Caribbean is implementing environmentally sound waste management solutions in the Caribbean, starting on the island of St. Lucia. They develop workplace recycling programs for private businesses, conduct waste diversion training, create green waste streams, and process recyclable materials. Their founder, Wayne Neale spoke at the Caribbean Sailing Association Conference in conjunction with Sailors for the Sea's Caribbean Initiative, sharing the importance of proper waste management in the Caribbean as a means of protecting our ocean and public health.

Using science-based, peer reviewed methods, Seafood Watch® assesses how fisheries and farmed seafood impact the environment and provides recommendations indicating which items are ‘Best Choices,’ ‘Good Alternatives,’ and which ones to ‘Avoid.’
Mystic Seaport is the nation's leading maritime museum. Founded in 1929, the Museum is home to four National Historic Landmark vessels, including the Charles W. Morgan, the last wooden whaleship in the world. Mystic Seaport also features a working preservation shipyard, a re-created 19th-century coastal village, exhibits and a planetarium. Mystic Seaport has graciously provided Sailors for the Sea with development support.

Sail Newport is home to New England's largest public sailing center and is considered Rhode Island's premier public sailing site. Founded in 1983, Sail Newport's mission is to promote and operate affordable public sailing instruction, rental programs and to create opportunities to attract new sailors to the sport.
Summer Sailstice is the global holiday celebrating sailing held annually on the summer solstice, the longest sailing days of the year. Each year paticipants pledge to support Sailors for the Sea's ocean conservation mission.
The Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) is committed to creating and maintaining healthy, sustainable oceans through litigation, policy analysis and the support of over 1 million members and online activists. The NRDC has graciously provided Sailors for the Sea with insights and comments regarding ocean policy decisions.
US Sailing's mission is to encourage participation and promote excellence in sailing and racing in the United States. US Sailing organizes up to 18 National Championship events annually, which are hosted by volunteer yacht clubs and sailing centers throughout the country. Since 2011, US Sailing, Sailors for the Sea and the host clubs are working to make each regatta certified as a Clean Regatta.
Sailors for the Sea has joined an alliance of nonprofits, governments and private sector interests under the umbrella of the World Bank Global Partnership for Oceans. Together, Sailors for the Sea will join in a collaborative effort to address the threats to a clean and healthy ocean. As a group, we will be addressing protection and restoration issues, managing risks to ocean health, sharing knowledge and striving for solutions.
Yacht Scoring is a web based yacht racing management and scoring system that simplifies the task of competitor registration, event management, competitor and media communications while providing results in near-real time to competitors and spectators near and far. Additionally by using web based management, regatta organizers can greatly reduce their carbon footprint by eliminating paper!
