What is your earliest memory of the ocean?
I first saw the Pacific Ocean on Vancouver Island at age 24.  It was very impressive for a girl who grew up in the desert in west Texas.

What is the biggest threat to preserving the ocean and local waters for future generations?
There is not one "greatest threat" in my opinion.  There are many problems that add up including warming trends, ocean acidification, ice caps melting, pollution (run off and plastic) and over fishing…just to name a few.
