for your yacht club or marina. Assemble a team that meets periodically to remove debris on shore and in the water.
Recycling:
If your marina or yacht club does not provide recycling services petition them to have a recycling program implemented. The more that can be separated and hauled away the better.

Conduct maintenance activities, such as sanding and fairing, in approved areas using mitigation measures, such as tarps and dustless sanders, to contain pollutants.
Stormwater Pollution Prevention:
Implement a stormwater management system at your home or marina to reduce runoff.
Compost:
Ensure that all organic and biodegradable waste remain out of the waste stream by composting at home or at your marina. Often organic matter can be collected and taken off site to a local farm to be composted
