Annie Brett grew up sailing on the foggy coast of Maine and in the Pacific as a student with SEA. After graduating from Harvard with a degree in environmental science and public policy, she moved to the Marshall Islands to learn to build traditional outrigger sailing canoes. Annie subsequently acted as Captain of the 36 meter S/V Infinity, sailing over 30,000 miles throughout the Pacific. During this time she co-founded and ran the NGO Infinity Expeditions, exploring climate change impacts and perception in the remote islands of the Pacific.
