Regan Gammon, a community volunteer and nonprofit fundraiser for the past 30 years, is a founder and past Chair of the Texas Book Festival. In addition to serving on the Book Festival Board, she is a member of the National Park Foundation Board and served as its Citizen Chair for two years. Regan formerly served as an advisory board member of the South Texas Native Plant Restoration Project, and has been a member of the board of the Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest, President of the Junior League of Austin, and Chairman of the St. Andrew's Episcopal School Board. She was also a member of the Town Lake Task Force, creating a framework for the development around Lady Bird Lake on the Colorado River.

Regan and her husband, William Gammon, live in Austin, Texas where he is owner and President of William Gammon Insurance Agency. They enjoy yearly trips to the Gammon family home in Islesboro, Maine where they sail in Penobscot Bay. Regan's hobbies are gardening, reading, and hiking. For the past 10 years, she has made annual hiking and rafting trips to National Parks with a group of her childhood friends from Midland, Texas. She is a graduate of Texas Christian University and has two grown children.
